Aspect schools across Australia also host walkathons in support of their initiative.

Walk for Autism hopes to raise $1.2 million and anyone can register to take part www.walkforautism.org.au.
Autism is a lifelong disability that affects an estimated one in 70 children.
Children on the autism spectrum see, hear, feel and experience the world differently.
Differences in social communication, strong interests and repetitive behaviours mean interacting with others can often be unpredictable and confusing.
Being over-or under-sensitive to sounds, touch, tastes, smells or light can cause sensory overload and make physical and social situations challenging.
