Sally Fitzgibbons from STAB on Vimeo.Stab Magazine editor Derek Rielly said such shoots were a sought-after rite of passage for female pro surfers because the magazine had a history of showing them in a "glamorous way".He said the magazine had approached Fitzgibbons, 20, of Gerroa, to be photographed but had not paid her."We've got quite a history of shooting professional female surfers. The girls are quite competitive to be on our shoots because they know they will look amazing," Rielly said."It's capturing a moment in their lives where they've never looked more healthy, young and beautiful.Fitzgibbons is known for her clean-living ways, particularly for abstaining from alcohol. Her manager father Martin told the Mercury yesterday she was at the Surfer Poll awards in Hawaii and was unavailable for comment.
