After juggling appointments with nail technicians, spray tanners, brow-shapers, hairstylists and make-up artists, the girls made their grand entrances in an array of showstopping gowns.
Red and white proved to be the big colour trends, with floor-length gowns and plunging necklines the other sartorial standouts this formal season.
In bold yet successful departures from the glitzy evening wear, one girl stood out in a stylish pink pantsuit, while another teamed well-worn Converse sneakers with a blue cut-out slip dress.
For the boys, blue hues, skinny ties and red velvet tuxedo jackets were the popular choices.
