And they can't wait to join in the fun and festivities at the 16th KidzWish Children's Christmas Party on Thursday, November 21.
The original Yellow Wiggle, Greg Page, is back to run the show at the WIN Entertainment Centre, and will be joined on stage by Ronald McDonald, the KidzWish Fairy and Santa with his elves.
Since the event's inception, KidzWish has welcomed more than 45,000 children and carers to the annual kid's party.
KidzWish acting CEO Cameron Walters said the aim of the day was to enable kids to have as much fun as they can, while making memories that last a lifetime.
"We believe that the KidzWish Children's Christmas Party makes a real difference to everyone involved," he said.
"Not only does it have an impact on the children and their families, but also to those who come to volunteer and business sponsors who come to see how their funds have been used."
Mr Walters said there was no cost to any of the families or school groups that attend the party, with the food catered for by McDonald's.
"Even Santa manages to take time out of his busy schedule to pay the children a visit," he said.
There is top entertainment, and of course, every child gets a present to take home with them.

"There is top entertainment, and of course, every child gets a present to take home with them at the end of the day."
This year 400 volunteers will help out on the day, while more than 20,000 chicken nuggets and 3000 juice and water pop-tops will be packed to hand out at lunchtime.
Doors will open at 10am, while the show will start at 11am.
After the party's over, it's time for the grown-ups to have some fun - with more than 500 people to attend the KidzWish annual fundraising ball on Friday, November 22.
The Yellow Wiggle will again make an appearance while the entertainment line-up will also include Liam Power Magic and Tap Pack.
There'll also be a special performance by Peterborough students, entitled 'Dream Big'.
All funds raised will benefit the KidzWish Foundation, which provides families with a range of supports including speech and occupational therapy and physiotherapy, as well as respite programs.
