Woonona's Sarah, 15 is going from strength to strength in track cycling while older sibling Jacinta, 17, is impressing in triathlon.
Sarah is currently preparing for her next challenge, when she flies to Brisbane for the Cycling Australia Junior National Track Championships next week.
The Illawarra Academy of Sport student will look to build on her strong showing at the recent Cycling NSW U/15s and U/17 Track Championships, where she won three gold and one silver medals.
Sarah's mum Vanessa Cliff said her daughter had one key goal in mind at next week's national titles.
"Her goal at the moment is to win the individual pursuit and set a record," Cliff said.
"Sarah was happy to get three golds and a silver at the [state] meet because she was suffering from sickness at the time. There were a few challenges that she had to face."
Sarah's sibling Jacinta is also preparing for a major competition. She will fly to New Plymouth, New Zealand, for the OTU Triathlon Junior Oceania Championships in the coming weeks.
She has also been asked to represent Australia at the Triathlon Mixed Relay invitational in Queensland in May.
Jacinta said she took up triathlon five years ago and particularly enjoyed cycling.
"I'm probably strongest on the bike but I really want to improve my run and swim," the teenager said.
"My older sister Lucy got me into triathlon. I was dragged along to her races, so I wanted to do it too."
