With Football Federation Australia banning all grassroots football activities until April 14 as a result of the spread of coronavirus, the Wolves have seen their season put on hold.
Perhaps the most challenging aspect for all coaches is the ban on organised training sessions.
In response, Wollongong coach Luke Wilkshire has crafted individual training programs for each of his players to ensure they maintain fitness levels.
"They have have got some individual programs," Wilkshire said. "It's not ideal, but hopefully we can get this knocked on the head and by April 14 we are all clear to go and resume.
"It's frustrating for the boys, they start the season fully fit and now they get this. It is what it is though, I've got a new born, my brother-in-law has bad asthma, so I completely understand the decision that's been made."
