But imagine his surprise when he was delivering a parcel to a residence at Albion Park and noticed a brightly coloured drawing and message about rainbows from an eight year old child.
Mr Moore was so inspired by the note from Ella-Rae Sullivan he wrote a reply and left it with the parcel. That simple act set off a chain of events that now has other children leaving rainbow pictures in windows to help brighten peoples' day.
"Something so simple from the mind of a child really made me stop and reflect. COVID-19 is causing a surge in demand for home deliveries. I'd been on the road delivering for most of the day and had more deliveries to make, but the message made me smile and take one minute to admire the lovely intention behind it".
"I knew I had to write something back,".Mr Moore said.
Ella-Rae's mother, Raeanne Sullivan, said her daughter created the note because she loved rainbows and felt they would make other people happy the same way they make her happy.
"Ella-Rae told me she wrote it because she wanted people to know everything will be ok and we'll get through this time together. She just wants to make people smile.
"We'd just come back from a bike ride and saw Stuart's note taped on the window next to Ella-Rae's note, so she hopped straight off her bike and ripped it off to read. She was so happy she'd made someone's day a little better.
"I was shocked that someone had actually written back to her, we've been shopping from home a lot recently and we'd had so many deliveries but no one had reached out before
Mrs Sullivan said reading Mr Moore's message about how Ella-Rae's drawing made him feel, made it really hit home how important it is for all of us now more than ever to look for the rainbows every day..
Mr Moore said we all need to stay positive and safe during this time.
"Ella-Rae's note was a great reminder of what's really important," he said.
"I felt blessed to have the opportunity to deliver to their home, and I encourage her to keep taking online art courses because she's got real talent.
"Every day I'm seeing rainbow drawings in windows around my local area -Ella-Rae may have started something".
Mr Moore said that was a great thing for the community and for people like his team at Fastway Couriers Wollongong.
The business is presently being rebranded to Aramex as the team works hard every day to meet the growing demand for deliveries during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"We've got an important role to play in keeping Wollongong moving and getting parcels safely to customers," Mr Moore said.
"We're doing our very best to help people adapt to the circumstances and stay safe at home. Whether you're working from home or home schooling like Raeanne and Ella-Rae, we're ready to help deliver for our community."
Aramex, which specialises in transportation and technology globally, acquired the Fastway Couriers network in 2016.
