The Dragons will take on the Warriors on Saturday afternoon in their first match since the coronavirus shutdown, with the team welcoming back a number of players from injury.

Leading that group is captain Cameron McInnes, who will line up in his customary No. 9 jumper.

The hooker returns from a knee injury suffered in the pre-season NRL Nines competition.

McInnes' replacement through the opening two weeks, Issac Luke missed selection completely, and will not feature on Saturday after not being named in the 21-man squad.

McInnes is joined in the starting lineup by the returning Korbin Sims, who was also injured at the Nines and will play in the front row on Saturday.

Sims' inclusion has seen James Graham shift to lock and Blake Lawrie to the bench.

The reshuffle has come at the expense of Trent Merrin, who was named as 18^th man.

Tyson Frizell will play his first game for the Dragons since it was announced he will join the Knights at the end of the season.

Tariq Sims will return from suspension, with Tyrell Fuimaono moving to the bench.

Josh Kerr retains his place in the 17, while Billy Britain, who played an interchange role in the opening two weeks, also missed the 21.

McGregor's changes are not confined to the forwards, with a couple of tweaks made to the backline.

Matt Dufty retained the fullback jersey after an impressive performance in the round two loss to Penrith.

The return of Mikaele Ravalawa has seen Zac Lomax shift to the centres at the expense of Tim Lafai.

The Samoan international, who was served with an apprehended violence order over an incident on Good Friday, was not named in McGregor's 21-man squad. He was available for selection.

Lafai's former centre partner, Euan Aitken earned a recall to the bench after missing the opening two rounds.

With both the Dragons and Warriors losing their opening two matches, Saturday's clash is shaping as crucial in a shortened season.

The 'hosts' have also been forced to make numerous changes to the side that fell to the Raiders in round two.
