Emergency services responded to a mayday call from a private jet needing to make an emergency landing at HMAS Albatross on Monday night.

The alarm was raised just before 7pm when the pilot radioed concerns about landing gear.
The aircraft landed safely around 7.15pm and there were no reports of injuries.
Fire & Rescue NSW and NSW Ambulance crews from the Nowra area were among the emergency services called to the airport.
