Police have found the body of a Nowra woman who went missing during flooding in the Lismore area.

Alina Brakel, 55, was thought to have been trapped in her car at Monaltrie, about five kilometres south of Lismore, on Tuesday.
Officers began looking for her that night after she failed to arrive at her intended destination.
About 7pm on Thursday night, police found the body of a woman in floodwaters in North Lismore after they received information from a member of the public.
While the body is yet to be formally identified, police believe it to be that of Ms Brakel.
Her vehicle, a white Holden Captiva with NSW registration YHS 51F, is yet to be found.
Ms Brakel was in the Lismore area working as an aged care nurse.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death is underway and a report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
