The windy sailing conditions caused the individuals on the yacht to be injured by the boat's boom about 12.20pm.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated three people at the scene for head injuries.
Two of the individuals were to be taken to separate hospitals in the region.
One was sent to Wollongong Hospital while the other was taken to Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital.
The Toll Rescue Helicopter was tasked to attend.
The third person involved in has received only minor wounds according to NSW Ambulance.
