Illawarra head into their fifth and final match in the under 15s and 17s competitions looking for their first win after a few close losses.
Illawarra have taken on Sydney North, Sydney West, Western NSW and, in their only previous home game, a Victorian development side aligned with Super 15s franchise Melbourne Rebels.
The Victorians proved too strong in the two games at Ocean Park, Woonona.
They won the U15s clash 31-12, and 38-5 in the U17s.
Illawarra officials had always expected a tough first season in a national competition featuring 48 teams from 24 regions and five rounds played over six weeks.
Freshened up after their bye last weekend, Illawarra will be chasing a win against their traditional rivals Central Coast on Sunday.
The u-15s clash kicks off at 1pm and the U17s kick off at 2.15pm.
