Police are looking for a man who held up the liquor store in Burton Street, Vincentia.
The man was wearing a black balaclava, grey striped hoodie, black track pants and running shoes when he entered the business at 7.20pm.
He was carrying what appeared to be a firearm and demanded the victim, a 68-year-old female staff member, open the till.
She refused and a struggle followed in which the victim’s brief case fell to the floor.
The offender then stole her wallet and, after the woman threw an EFTPOS machine at him, ran away.
He was last seen running south out of the mall before turning right into Excellent Street.
Nowra Detectives are investigating and would like to hear from anyone with information about this incident.
Friday nights's armed robbery followed on from a rampage in the central Shoalhaven in the early hours of Tuesday, where men using axes, and in one instance brandishing a shotgun, smashed their way into four businesses.
The trail of destruction started at the Cooee Hotel at St Georges Basin shortly after 1.30am, moving to the Basin View General Store and then two businesses at Wandandian, property conveyancers Southern Property Transfers and the Bluedog Country Cafe.
Police are urging anyone with information about these incidents to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000
