Stanton, who led the goalkicking in Sydney AFL Division Two last season, and her Saints teammates were selected following the NSW/ACT U17 State Cup in Wagga Wagga.
The 57-strong squad was picked from more than 160 girls who attended the Wagga carnival, from which a squad of 27 will be named for the national championships in Mandurah in May.
The girls will attend a training camp in late January in Sydney to push their claims for final selection.
NSW/ACT female programs manager Libby Sadler was pleased with the talent available in the preliminary squad.
"The standard of play at the State Cup in Wagga Wagga was very impressive, and I can't wait to see the type of football produced in Western Australia next year," Sadler said.
