Talented Illawarra boys and girls in under 12s and 14s and an under-16s girls team head to Sutherland Stadium on Sunday to take on the Sharks in preparation for the new rep season.
Some youngsters, particularly in under 12s, are in their rookie rep season, while others are stepping up in age division or moving between grades.
The rep season varies between age divisions and division 1 or division 2, with teams chasing country and state titles and some hoping for national honours.
The players have been working hard with their coaches while also enjoying the start of a new season of championship basketball.
Illawarra under-12s boys head coach Simon Dent ran a Prep for Rep training session late last year.
The Hawks v Sharks trials at Sutherland are from 9am.
