As part of Shellharbour City Council's holiday program, young explorers took to Bass Point and Shellharbour's South Beach on Wednesday, July 1 on a journey of discovery. The coastal walk gave Shellharbour children and their parents the opportunity to learn about the local natural environment and all the creatures of the sea.
But the excitement didn't stop there - Lake Illawarra PCYC let the fun unfurl from Monday, offering a whole variety of activities.
As part of the KidzCare Vacation Care program a Bike Park day was held on Wednesday, whereby participants took part in various activities, including a bike safety training exercise and a ride along the lake.
They finished off the day making Chinese lanterns.
