Over $42,000 has been set aside to support performing arts company Force Majeure to tour the region, as well as Orange and Wagga Wagga.
Deputy Premier Troy Grant said it was to create new opportunities for regional communities to engage with arts and culture.
Parliamentary Secretary for the Illawarra and South Coast Gareth Ward was thrilled, as the investment would also attract visitors to the area.
The state-wide investment is in addition to more than $345,000 already committed to performing arts touring in regional NSW in 2016.
