The Moirs, who go by The String Family on stage, have this week won several awards at the National Busking Championships region finals in Stanthorpe, south-west Queensland.
The family took home (to their caravan) the major trophy for Open Champions, plus the Family Prize and won second prize in the People’s Choice category.
Following their win they treated patrons of the Stanthorpe Apple and Grape Harvest Festival, including an encore performance and standing ovation.
The family of musicians aim to make a living from busking around the country.
