A man accused of pointing a loaded gun at a Shoalhaven shop owner and pulling the trigger remains behind bars after facing court on Thursday.

Sean Francis Gaffney was refused bail at Nowra Local Court after being charged with attempted murder and firearm charges.
Police allege Gaffney, 53, demanded entry to a closed retail store on the Princes Highway at Milton where a man and two women were working about 10pm on Tuesday.
The store owner, 35, refused him entry and it’s alleged Gaffney then punched the man and pointed a gun at him.
The shop owner told police the trigger was pulled but the gun did not fire, before the two men became involved in a physical altercation where the shop owner was able to gain control of the weapon
Shoalhaven police attended the store and recovered the loaded revolver.
Following inquiries, police arrested Gaffney at a home on Curtis Street in Ulladulla. During the arrest Gaffney suffered a seizure and was taken to hospital under police guard.
He was later released and taken to Ulladulla Police Station and charged with attempt to discharge loaded arms at a person with intent to murder, possess loaded firearm in a public place, possess unregistered firearm in a public place and possess unauthorised firearm.
He was refused bail to appear at Nowra District Court on January 13.
