KEZIE Apps returned home with the Auckland Nines trophy and a moon boot as extra luggage on Monday.

After dominating New Zealand in Auckland with a three-nil series whitewash, Apps became the only setback for the Jillaroos, when she was carried from the field during the second game.
Apps revealed the extent of her war wounds on social media, while showing off her player medal and the Auckland Nines trophy.
“Thankyou everyone for the love and concerns! Just a broken fibula and a few stitches to the head,” Apps wrote.
Apps had left the field after a knock to the head, but returned after being bandaged up.

However, worse was to come as she was forced off again in obvious pain. Australia set the tone with a 20-4 victory in game on at Eden Park, before sealing the series 8-0, the winning the dead rubber 14-4.
The success of Apps and other Illawarra and South Coast players Sam Bremner, Maddie Studdon and Ruan Sims, came as St George Illawarra won one game at the Nines.
The Dragons defeated the Warriors 14-10 on Sunday, but missed out on the finals.
St George Illawarra play a trial against Wests at WIN Stadium on Saturday night.
