Gun stolen from Berry home

Police have appealed for information after a gun was taken from a home in Berry.

The safely-secured .222 calibre rifle was stolen after entry was gained to the home on Prince Alfred Street between Tuesday and 10.30am on Saturday.

An 89-year-old woman at the home at the time when the incident is believed to have occurred.

She was not approached or injured.

No other items were stolen.
