JetGo – unveiled as the operator of the region’s new passenger airline services earlier this month – has added Wollongong to its online booking system.
The move comes ahead of direct flights to Brisbane and Melbourne beginning in October.
Tickets for the 95-minute flights to Brisbane cost between $119 and $395, although the JetGo website indicates, initially, the cheapest one-way flights will be $155 between October 15 and 29.
The first available return flight from Brisbane is listed on October 30.
Melbourne-bound flights, arriving at Essendon Airport, are set to take-off from October 30, the website indicated.
The cost of the 80-minute flights south start at $119.
For both services, the cheapest ‘JetPromo’ fare includes 15kg of checked baggage and 7kg of carry-on.
The most expensive ‘JetFlex’ option offers 25kg.
