Port coach Noel Spencer is confident his squad can carry momentum from a strong second half display against Tarrawanna last weekend into Sunday’s do-or-die encounter with Wollongong Olympic.

But the first-year Zebras boss insists his team needs to sustain the performance for the entire 90 minutes to keep their season alive for another week.
Port were off the pace in the first half against the Blueys at Tarrawanna Oval before scoring three unanswered goals in the second stanza to progress to the second week of the finals.
It gave Spencer cause for optimism, but the former A-League midfielder wants to see his youthful squad maintain the performance for the entirety of their elimination final at Wetherall Park this weekend.
“We have to be better for longer periods of the game,” Spencer said.
“Our turn over has to be better than it is at the moment and our completion rate has to be in the high percentages.”
