Work is now under way on the construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Woodhill Mountain Road, Queen and North streets – the eastern end of the Berry township.
It is expected to be completed in the middle of this month.
A second roundabout at the western end – at the Kangaroo Valley Road and Queen Street intersection – is also under construction.
That should take two months to complete.
When it comes to the bypass itself, work is continuing on the small stretch west of the township.
Motorists travelling south between Schofields Lane and Mullers Lane will be diverted onto the northbound lanes to allow for work to be completed on the southbound side.
A reduced speed limit of 80km/h will remain in place in this section while work is completed.
