That the message from Illawarra First’s executive director Chris Lamont.
“There has been considerable work conducted in the south of the region that has improved road transport outcomes,” Mr Lamont said.
“However, it is clear we need to look at a range of measures to improve efficiency, reliability and productivity for the more than 42,000 freight and commuter vehicles making the trip between the Illawarra and Sydney each day.”
The group has commissioned a study into options to improve road connectivity which is “intended to influence decision-making”.
