The majority of the new stores will open across three levels of the Gateway building on October 5, in conjunction with the new David Jones.
A new Mecca Maxima cosmetics store will be the first of its kind in the Illawarra, while tea and teaware shop T2 will offer unique blends, matcha and iced teas to sample and buy.
The redeveloped mall will also house designer pajama brand Peter Alexander, as well as fashion labels Review, Edge Clothing and Bardot Junior.
Other new stores in the Gateway building are Espresso Warriors, Anjali Brow Studio, Barber Enterprises and hair salon Charli & Kate.
“The new retailers are a strong fit for the centre which, in conjunction with the existing stores, will provide a dynamic and diverse shopping experience,” Wollongong Central Regional General Manager Antony Keenan said.
“Our investment delivers a greatly improved Wollongong CBD shopping experience.’’
