Named the Wollongong Classic, it will be the second year an Australian Baseball League game has been played at Dalton Park.
Last year, the Cavalry won in an exciting batting duel, beating the Blue Sox 21-11.
Baseball Australia chief executive Cam Vale is excited to announce the fixture, to be played on November 26.
“Wollongong has always had a passionate baseball community, and bringing ABL games to this great city has been a highly successful partnership,” Vale said.
“Bringing the best baseball in the country to regional Australia will continue to be a priority for the ABL, and we expect this event in Wollongong to set the standard moving forward.”
The ABL season starts on November 16. The Brisbane Bandits have won the past two ABL titles, beating the Melbourne Aces in last year’s championships series 3-1.
