Chelsea won the 100m sprint and 200m event as well, where she set the new 11-year-old mark in Adelaide.
Continuing an outstanding carnival, was also part of a 4x100m national and Pacific Games relay record.
To cap it off, Chelsea was also fourth overall in the shot put.
Continuing the club’s outstanding achievements, Damita Betham finished on the podium in the multi-discipline 11-year-old tetrathlon, Charlize Colwell won gold in the 10-12 years medley relay and Drew Langdon impressed with a fifth placing in the 11 years boys discus.
"I’m very proud of this training group’s achievements and look forward to helping them develop their talents in the future,” coach Peter Murphy said.
“The children train hard and it's paying off."
Combining a number of events in an overall pointscore, the tetrathlon is one of the most demanding events at the Games and shows Damita’s versatility.
Finishing third overall, Damita also produced an outstanding run in the 200m to finish fourth. In her first year competing, 10-year-old Charlize has already shown her ability by winning three national cross country medals at the junior championships in Tasmania in August.
She finished off the year with a superb performance to win gold in the para-athlete medley relay at the Pacific Schools Games.
Drew had qualified for the Games after finishing this at the state carnival with a throw of 37.46m. He showed his talent at the national level by finishing fifth.
Eight-year-old Gabriel Lombardi is still too young to compete at the titles, but showed his potential by finishing first in his division at the NSW titles.
Gabriel is part of the Wollongong Wolves football development squad and he has been selected to be part of an academy training camp with English Premier League club West Ham next year.
