Demolition is well underway at the site of the former Corrimal Leagues Club as developers make way for a complex of 60 apartments.

Demolition works are expected to continue until mid-February, said development manager Paul Roddam, from Village Building Co.
The group has already sold four apartments off the plan, from a first-stage release of 16. “We’ve had really good, strong inquiries and positive feedback,” Mr Roddam said, adding the first stage offering included apartments on the first, second and third floors.
The club closed in October after the Astor Group sold the site to the Village Building Co. Aster Group CEO Daniel Munk confirmed the gaming entitlements from the venue – licenses for 70 pokie machines – were transferred to Wests Illawarra.
