Officers spotted a car travelling outside of the marked lane on the Princes Highway at Frogs Hollow, south of Bega, just after 2am on Saturday.
As police performed a u-turn, the car accelerated away and a pursuit was initiated.
It will be alleged the car reached speeds of up to 150km/h as it travelled south along the Princes Highway through Pambula and over the Yowakka River.
The car came to a stop 20km from Frogs Hollow after road spikes were deployed.
The 39-year-old driver was arrested and taken to Merimbula police station where he underwent a breath test and allegedly returned a reading of 0.172.
He was charged with being a disqualified driver, police pursuit – fail to stop (Skye’s Law), and high range PCA (second offence).
The man was refused bail to appear at Batemans Bay Local Court on Sunday.
