A search was undertaken for the 39-year-old woman after she left a home on Monday night. Her body was located in bushland at Engadine.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
Earlier: Police are seeking assistance to locate a woman missing from Engadine.
Tanya Laws, 39, was last seen at an Engadine home about 8pm on Christmas Day.
She has not been seen or heard from since.
“Ms Laws suffers from a medical condition, so there are serious concerns for her welfare,” a police spokesman said.
She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of a medium build, and with long brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and denim shorts.
Ms Laws is believed to frequent the Engadine and Helensburgh areas.
