The 20-year-old from Albion Park is confident undertaking the Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) online TAFE NSW course has her in good stead to score her dream job.
Miss Wells was among the thousands of extra students who did the popular course in 2017.
‘’It was challenging but very engaging. Murray Bergmeier [Wollongong TAFE real estate teacher] was especially helpful and I’m sure the course will help me find a job sooner rather than later,’’ she said.
Adam Marshall, the Minister responsible for TAFE NSW, said enrolments in the Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) had seen a huge 44 per cent increase in 2017.
‘’The State’s property sector is booming and students are flocking to TAFE NSW because they know they can get the best practical, industry-led and accredited training that will lead to employment in the sector,’’ Mr Marshall said.
‘’The NSW Government also offers a significant subsidy to eligible students of almost 85 per cent of the total course fee for the Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) under Smart and Skilled as it is a qualification which plays a key role in growing the State’s economy.
‘’This means students looking to train in real estate at TAFE NSW not only get the skills they need to get a job but they can do so without accumulating a large debt from expensive tuition fees.’’
The fully online Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) course is part of TAFE Digital and facilitated at Wollongong.
It runs over a 52-week period, features weekly Adobe Connect sessions and aims to provide strong teacher connectivity to support students.
Enrolments for next February’s intake are now open.
