Perhaps the biggest match of the day will see defending champions Brett Pieper and Scott Bateup face Aaron Teys and Ray Pearse in the second round. Pieper and Bateup opened their title defence with a loss on Friday, before recovering to claim the section and progress to the elimination rounds.
Tuesday will also see Shane Leonard and Shane Garvey tackle former world champion Jeremy Henry and his partner Geoff Burke in a mouth-watering second round clash.
With three rounds of play on Tuesday, the field will be whittled down to eight pairings by the end of the day. The final eight will return for Thursday’s quarter-finals and semi-finals before the final on Friday.
