The Steelers were undefeated heading into the final round of the season, but with star player Keely Davis absent through injury, the Sharks proved far too good for the girls. Cronulla ultimately ran out 70-12 winners at WIN Stadium.
The junior boys teams will also feature in semi-finals on Sunday, with both the Harold Matthews Cup and SG Ball sides facing the Bulldogs as part of an Illawarra triple-header at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.
The two boys sides finished eighth on the ladder and will take on the fifth-placed Bulldogs in an elimination final. After finishing second on the ladder, the girls can win through to a preliminary final with a victory over the Tigers.
The Tigers also suffered just one defeat this season, a 46-16 loss to Cronulla.
