The northbound lanes of the M1 Princes Motorway at Gwynneville will be resurfaced from this Sunday.
The work on 420 metres of the road will take place at night between 8pm and 4am until May 2.
During the work, lane closures, traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.
More extensive work will be carried out on Lake Entrance Road at Blackbutt, requiring the closure of the road in each direction at different times.
From April 29 to May 6 – excluding Fridays and Saturdays – the road in both directions between Pioneer Drive and Government Road will be resurfaced.
The work will be carried out between 8pm and 5am.
The southbound lanes will be closed on April 29 and 30 with the northbound lanes shut down on May 1 and 7.
Detours will be in place and motorists should allow up to five minutes of extra travel time.
A reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place.
