Shellharbour’s Sydney Brown was among the best, finishing third in the girls 13 years 100 metres freestyle. The Wests Illawarra swimmer added a fourth-placed finish in the 50m freestyle, fifth in the 100m butterfly and sixth in the 200m freestyle.
Teammate Jade van Duin also performed well, claiming fifth and eighth place finishes.
Corrimal’s Georgia Smyth recorded a number of impressive results, claiming silver in the multi class 15-16 girls 100m butterfly and bronze in the 50m freestyle.
Commonwealth Games athlete Jasmine Greenwood also made the podium, with the Sussex Inlet swimmer finishing second in the multi class 11-14 girls 100m butterfly. Wollongong’s Jarrod Dyer added a bronze medal in the multi class 17-18 boys 50m butterfly.
