The Illawarra/Group Seven junior league finals will heat up on Saturday, with eight preliminary finals to take place across four age groups.

Played in Figtree and Warilla, the matches will see the sides face off for the chance to play in a grand final at WIN Stadium next Saturday.

The 13s first division will see Western Suburbs taking on Shellharbour, with the Devils hoping to rebound from last week's two-point defeat to Gerringong.

Dapto earned the week off in the 14s first division by upsetting Gerringong, with the Lions forced to take on the Stingrays on Saturday.

The 15s first division will feature Collegians and Corrimal after Collies fell to the Stingrays and Corrimal outclassed Berkeley.

Wests emphatically punched their 16s first division grand final ticket with a 40-6 victory over Collegians last weekend. Collies will aim to bounce back against a determined Thirroul side riding high after a 32-16 win over Dapto.
