The Lake Heights 13 boys will face Arncliffe after a final-minute semi-final victory over Kemps Creek on Sunday. Trailing 1-0 at the break, Lake Heights fought back in the second half to level the scores at one-goal-apiece thanks to a stunning Maksi Naumovski strike from 35 metres out.
Then, with just seconds remaining, Cooper Schofield was brought down after he drove into the Kemps Creek penalty box and was awarded a penalty.
Schofield stepped up and nailed the penalty in what became the final play of the match, securing a 2-1 victory.
