On Monday it received the support of the Keiraville Cubs who helped packed the hampers at the Uniting Church in Bulli before families came and collected them at Darcy House, Port Kembla on Tuesday morning.
Recipients got something a little extra from the Keiraville Scouts this week.
“They are also making Christmas cards which is a beautiful touch,” Ms Harrison said.
Drop of locations for the Christmas distribution include the Uniting Church in Bulli, Auto Change Mechanical, Albion Park Community Centre and Horizon Credit Union branches.
“There are a few pre-schools around the Illawarra collecting as well,” Ms Harrison said.
