The 12-year-old took out both the 12-years girls high jump and long jump events, and finished third in the 200 metres final and fourth in the 100m. Amidzovski also won a bronze medal representing NSW in the 12 years girls 4x100m relay.
Perhaps most impressively, she jumped a personal best in the high jump and set a new Australian record in the long jump. Her leap of 5.82m easily surpassed both her NSW record and the previous Australian record of 5.49m.
The impressive results come on the back of an outstanding performance at the NSW PSSA Championships, in which she was named athlete of the meet.
There, she won the 100m, 200m, long jump and high jump, and set new state records in the long jump and high jump.
