Facing off against the best teenage swimmers from across the state, and a number of interstate and international visitors, the club’s swimmers shone, taking home 17 medals.
Sydney Brown was among the pick of the athletes, taking home four gold medals in the 14 years 50 metre, 100m and 200m freestyle and 100m butterfly events.
The club’s 12-14 girls 4x50m freestyle relay team also won gold, with the 4x50m medley team finishing third.
Coach James Greathead said the achievements were the result of hours of hard work and dedication.
“To see these young swimmers work hard and to get rewarded with times that make them among the best in the country is a real joy,” Greathead said.
