Competing against girls four years older than her, the 14-year-old Keira High School student is making a name for herself in the sport.
Her main achievements include a third place at this year's NSW Combined High School singles championships and taking out the doubles at the 2018 NSW Junior Closed Championships.
Poposki describes herself as competitive, honest and hard working whilst developing strong confidence and learning to play assertive tennis. Isabella looks up to her favourite tennis player, Ash Barty, and dreams of emulating some of her achievements in the future.
She credits her parents for the qualities she has and her coaches for the fantastic support and opportunity to play competitive tennis.
The future looks bright for this Wollongong junior as she looks forward to achieving her tennis goals while meeting new friends in the sport and is excited about playing at future big tennis tournaments.
Tennis Wollongong Junior Age Championships
One of the highlights of the Illawarra tennis calendar took place over the weekend, with the Wollongong Tennis Club playing host to the Tennis Wollongong Junior Age Championships.
Featuring the top tennis players in the region, the competition saw some highly competitive action on the Beaton Park courts.

Summer competition wraps up
Tennis Wollongong Summer competition finished last Saturday 25th March, but due to wet weather, no Grand finals were played. As such, the minor premiers in each division were awarded as the winners.
A special memorial perpetual trophy in memory of Kerrie Stratton was presented to the Davis Cup A winning team which is the highest level of Tennis Wollongong Junior Saturday competition.
The Summer competition winners were Nareena Hills consisting of Damian Premovic, Ethan Everett and Anthony Krajnovic.
Kerrie spent many years on the Board and Junior Committees of Tennis Wollongong and was passionate about helping tennis in the region.
The Kerrie Stratton Memorial Trophy is a fitting reward for the winners of Davis Cup A and helps remember a volunteer that put a lot into the local tennis community.
