Having completed their run of home matches, the Australians will face New Zealand, Argentina and USA throughout the next three weeks, before heading to China and Europe in June.
For Stewart the selection marks a return to the side after missing the Hockeyroos final home matches against Argentina and New Zealand in Sydney last month.
The Kookaburras will also hit the road, with the men to follow the women in Thursday's double-header against New Zealand.
Wollongong's Flynn Ogilvie and Blake Govers were selected for the Kookaburras.
"We're going there to win," Kookaburras coach Colin Batch said. "It's our first road trip. It's good competition against them.
"We did well against New Zealand and Argentina last time in Sydney. We've got to duplicate that."
