The Nowra-Bomaderry coach refused to be critical of the refereeing, instead demanding the Jets be more disciplined after the 42-12 loss at Michael Cronin Oval.
"Our aggression was good, but we just had that bit of ill-discipline," he said.
"I got sin-binned at 12-10 and I think we lost our heads from there, we starting playing individual football, chip and chases and that.
"I had no problems with the referee, we just let ourselves down, some of their guys got under our skin and we let the crowd get involved."
In other matches, Warilla outlasted Albion Park-Park Oak Flats 24-14, while Kiama thrashed Berry-Shoalhaven Heads 56-12 and Jamberoo beat Stingrays 50-8.
It comes as Milton-Ulladulla could pull out of the first grade competition after struggling for numbers.
