Thirroul Bowling Leagues and Recreation Club and Coles in Thirroul Plaza were broken into on Sunday morning with surveillance footage showing two people smashing windows and doors.
The incidents come after Scarborough/Wombarra Surf Life Saving Club was also broken into sometime last week or on the weekend.
A Wollongong police spokeswoman confirmed officers were viewing CCTV footage and investigating the incidents.
Thirroul leagues club manager Michelle Lipscombe said a supervisor came in on Sunday morning to find the damage in the club.
"The thieves have damaged the cigarette machine and obviously tried to get cigarettes," she said.
"The ATM was empty and the tills were open so they weren't able to get any money.
"They smashed the side window to get in. They also tried to get into the greenkeeper's shed.
"They didn't take anything."
Surveillance footage shows the intruders wearing hoodies and gloves.
Ms Lipscombe said they were in the club for about five minutes and the alarm went off at about 3.30am.
"It is really annoying because there is not enough damage to go through insurance and pay the excess," she said. "We always put all the money away."
Ms Lipscombe said it was a blow for the club, which was a hub in the community, especially because it was trying to build up patronage under new management and with a new chef.
Coles supermarket was also targeted in the crime spree.
Customer service manager Belinda Solly said thieves "smashed through the front doors of the supermarket".
"Surveillance footage shows two people came in at 4.07am and stole cigarettes," she said. "They were in and out in under five minutes.
"The two people were wearing hoodies. One of them was wearing a cream-coloured covering around the head and face."
Ms Solly said no money or groceries were stolen.
The doors were replaced quickly on Sunday morning so the store could trade again.
Meantime, Scarborough/Wombarra Surf Life Saving Club members were left devastated when they found their club had been ransacked on Sunday.
Club president Bindi Adams said the break in occurred between Wednesday afternoon and Sunday morning.
An inflatable rescue boat and a Samsung tablet used to communicate with surf guards were stolen.
It is unclear how many people were involved.
"The door and curtains were closed so no one could see the building had been broken into," she said.
"The thieves ransacked two resuscitation bags. They took an oxygen tank, a resuscitation breathing bag and three radios each worth $900.
"They took a box of little bits and pieces that had no value.
"The most upsetting item they took was a painting that the oldest member of our club created. It was a one off in a series.
"What they took makes no sense."
The theft means the club will remain off line for emergency call outs until further notice.
Wollongong police were notified of the break in and are investigating.
Police would not confirm whether the three incidents were related.
