Buyers have been given a behind-the-scenes tour of the Signature Wollongong apartment building, which is still under construction.
The 21-storey building, located at 10-18 Regent Street, Wollongong, is due to be completed in late 2020.
Nearly 80 per cent of the building - 118 units out of 150 - has already been sold.
Those who have bought off-the-plan were given the site tour on Thursday night.
MMJ Wollongong's new projects manager Rob Mancini said the event featured a ground floor tour of the entry and lobby area, as well as the common area.
Mr Mancini said the anticipated construction completion date is November 2020.
"We're up to level 13 at the moment," he said. "Building is on schedule."
Mr Mancini said buyers so far were predominantly Illawarra residents, with about an equal split of investors and owner-occupiers.
He said the residential and commercial development would feature "six-star" amenities, including a concierge, restaurant, indoor gym, heated pool, childcare centre, and open air cinema on level three.
Of the remaining apartments left for sale, there are one-bedrooms available from $429,000.
Two-bedrooms start from $655,000, and the sole remaining three-bedroom has a price tag of $895,000 to $945,000.
However, Mr Mancini said there would be a premium release of three-bedroom apartments, a mixture of sub-penthouses and a penthouse, in about October/November this year.
No prices for this next release have been announced.
The Regent Street site originally won approval under former developer David Shalala for a hotel. But it changed hands, was redesigned, and the hotel plan dropped.
The apartment project was approved by the Joint Regional Planning panel in 2016.
After early site works were undertaken, construction of the Signature building was initially delayed, but re-commenced in mid-2018.
