Roberto Losco was, by all accounts, a dutiful drug dealer who took the whims and desires of his customers very seriously.

Whether it was methylamphetamine, MDMA, cannabis, GHB or the detox drug bupe, if the clients wanted it, Losco could get it.
Such was his dedication, he regularly travelled more than 90 minutes to north-west Sydney to collect his meth. He made sure he was available during the busy holiday period, selling to three customers on Christmas Eve and a further three on Christmas Day.
He also went where few other dealers dared to go - inside the state's jail system, sourcing sought-after drugs for his mates behind bars.
Losco used every trick in the book to avoid police detection: he operated out of hotel and short-stay rooms, ensured no exchange took place in the same location twice and used multiple phones. But try as he might, he couldn't shake his covert tail.
Wollongong drug squad detectives spent hours secretly monitoring Losco's daily movements, conversations and interactions from October last year to early January.
It didn't take them long to gather enough evidence to mount a compelling case against Losco, who this week pleaded guilty to multiple drug dealing charges.
An agree set of police facts tendered in Wollongong Local Court said Losco worked with a few close associates to ensure the business ran smoothly and reduce the likelihood of detection.
His confidantes included paid drug runner, Peter Francis Ryan, and friends Sheryl Corscadden and Codi Burke, both of whom booked hotel rooms for Losco to avoid suspicion.
Burke was also responsible for sourcing 52 bupe strips that Losco intended to have smuggled into South Coast Correctional Centre for an inmate friend who had contacted him on a contraband phone.
However, it was mainly Losco himself who handled the customer service side of the business, preferring to do the small-time sales himself.
Police recorded him selling a total of 247 grams of ice in 29 individual sales between October 29 and January 6.
Meanwhile, detectives swooped on the Headlands Hotel at Austinmer three days later on January 9, arresting Losco, Ryan and Burke on site.
Between the hotel room and Losco's Wollongong address, police discovered more than 700 grams of ice, small amounts of MDMA and cannabis, capsicum spray, a taser and thousands of dollars in cash.
Losco has been behind bars since his arrest and will face Wollongong District Court next Friday for a sentencing date to be set.
Ryan has also pleaded guilty to commercial drug supply charges and will face sentencing next month.
Corscadden was jailed for 18 months in April for her role in the drug ring, while Burke avoided further jail time when sentenced on Tuesday.
