After taking out the Football South Coast premiership-championship double, the boys travelled to Sydney determined to secure their third trophy of the year.
Taking on St George premiers Banksia, the two teams played out a tense first half and were locked at nil-all at the break.

Ultimately it was Lake Heights who were able to gain the ascendancy in the second period, with Elijah Byron opening the scoring in the 40th minute.
Cooper Schofield made it 2-0 midway through the second half and while Banksia attempted to cut the deficit, the Lions held firm to secure the two-goal victory.
Lake Heights were joined in the finals by the University 16 boys, who fell to Earlwood 3-0.
The Shellharbour 18 girls also suffered a loss on Sunday, the team defeated 1-0 by Rouse Hill.
