On Thursday detectives laid an another six charges against 32-year-old Christopher Neil Cranny, following an investigation into the alleged grooming of teen boys under his tutelage.
In the fresh matters, police will allege Cranny groomed two boys aged between 12 and 15 in the Illawarra area in 2015 and 2016 and carried out sexual acts in front of one of them.
The charges include two counts of grooming a child under 14 years for unlawful sexual activity, two counts of grooming a child between 14 and 16 years for unlawful sexual activity, and two counts of an aggravated sexual act involving a child between 10 and 16.
Court papers considered in Wollongong Local Court on Wednesday show police will allege Cranny provided at least one of the boys with alcohol.
He is also accused of exposing the boys to pornography "with the intention of making it easier to procure the child for unlawful sexual activity".
The court heard Cranny would be represented by Wollongong lawyer Aaron Kernagan.
Cranny was arrested at his Gwynneville home in January and originally faced eight charges relating to a single alleged victim.
Police will allege Cranny exposed that teen to pornography and masturbated in his presence between March and October last year.
Cranny, who is heavily involved in the Illawarra cricket community as a coach and committee member, has since been released on bail under strict conditions preventing him from being in the presence of, or contacting, any children. The conditions prevent him working as a teacher or running his private cricket coaching business.
He did not appear in court on Wednesday.
Police investigations are continuing.
The matter was adjourned to April 29 to allow for the remainder of the brief of evidence to be served.
