The sites have been targeted as they're areas people often meet in to socialise.
The closure will support the NSW Police as they enforce government orders regarding gatherings and social and physical distancing.
From Thursday, council staff will close Bald Hill carpark (except for limited parking) but the kiosk and amenities will remain open; Sublime Point Lookout, including the kiosk; Mt Keira Lookout, including the kiosk; and Flagstaff Hill carparks.
These spaces will remain closed to vehicles over the long weekend. They will reopen on Tuesday morning.
Council asks all residents to follow the government's orders to reduce the risk of the spread of coronavirus.
"We ask everyone to follow health and wellbeing advice and to stay home unless it's essential you leave," a spokeswoman said.
Shellhabour City Council has also said given the advice from NSW Police Force and Lake Illawarra Police District the several areas and car parks will be closed this Easter long weekend to help stop the spread of COVID-19:
These include Bass Point, Bass Point Road car parks including shallows car parks, Shellharbour reserve (foreshore) and Blacks Beach car park.
